MACCC Baseball Opener Between Jones and East Central Moved Up to Tuesday

The MACCC baseball opener between No. 14 Jones and No. 3 East Central has been moved up to Tuesday due to forecasted rain in the Decatur area, according to the schools.

The doubleheader is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at the Clark/Gay Baseball Complex. All MACCC games follow a nine-inning format for doubleheaders, which will be played on Tuesday as scheduled.

Tickets are available in advance at ecccathletics.com/tickets for $8. The games will also be streamed live at eccclive.com/gold-channel.

Jones enters the game with a 17-6 overall record, while East Central is 23-3. The teams split a non-conference doubleheader in Ellisville on Feb. 2, their only meeting this season.
