Jones College Men’s Golf Named NJCAA Academic Team of the Year

Jones College men’s golf has been named the NJCAA Academic Team of the Year for the 2025-26 academic season. The team posted a 3.81 grade point average, the highest among all NJCAA men’s golf programs, according to the NJCAA.

The award is given annually to the program with the highest cumulative team GPA across all NJCAA sports. It honors the academic achievements of student-athletes and coaching staff, reflecting their collective efforts during the school year.

In addition to men’s golf, seven other Jones College athletic programs received NJCAA Academic Team Honorable Mention recognition. These included women’s soccer (3.69 GPA), men’s soccer (3.39), softball (3.67), men’s tennis (3.53), women’s tennis (3.71), baseball (3.19), and volleyball (3.43).

Jones College’s entire athletic department achieved a combined GPA of 3.24 for the academic year, according to college officials.
