Egg Bowl Set for 11 a.m. Kickoff on Black Friday

Disney and ESPN announced the kickoff times for the 2026 college football season during the Disney Advertising Upfront at New York’s Javits Center. The Egg Bowl between Mississippi State and Ole Miss is scheduled for Nov. 27 in Oxford, Mississippi.

The game will begin at 11 a.m. on ABC. This marks the second consecutive year and the seventh overall that the Egg Bowl will be played on a Friday. It is also the second straight season the game will start at 11 a.m. on Black Friday.

Additional game times and television networks will be announced at a later date, ESPN said. For updates on Mississippi State football, fans are encouraged to follow the team on X, Facebook, and Instagram by searching for “HailStateFB.”
