10 Owls Softball Players Earn NFCA Academic Honors for 2025-26

Louisville’s softball team has announced that 10 players from its 2026 roster have received Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

The honored players include Kaitlyn Bearley, a senior from Columbia, Illinois; MC Brown, a senior from Loretto, Tennessee; Brianna Byrd, a junior from Petal, Mississippi; Gillion Eaves, a freshman from Louisville, Mississippi; Rachel Etheridge, a freshman from Memphis, Tennessee; Trinity Garvin, a freshman from Olive Branch, Mississippi; Asia Glass, a junior from Noxapater, Mississippi; Avery Johnston, a freshman from Caledonia, Mississippi; Addison Owen, a junior from Pontotoc, Mississippi; and Brooklyn Rhodes, a sophomore from Vancleave, Mississippi.

The NFCA awards recognize student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, according to the organization.
