Mississippi State Baseball to Host Little Rock in Fall Exhibition Game

Mississippi State Baseball will host Little Rock in its fourth and final fall exhibition game on Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field, according to an announcement from the program.

The game is sponsored by State 1878. Tickets are available first to premium season ticket holders, with remaining season ticket holders able to purchase starting Friday at 10 a.m. Public sales begin Monday at 10 a.m. All MSU students with an all-sport pass can attend free of charge.

Little Rock finished last season with a school-record 39 wins, including capturing the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Championship and advancing to the Super Regional. The Trojans are coached by Chris Curry, a former MSU standout catcher in 1999 who played seven seasons professionally.

Mississippi State has faced Little Rock nine times previously during the regular season, holding an 8-1 record in those matchups. The Bulldogs’ most recent victory over the Trojans was a 15-4 win in Starkville in 2019.

In addition to the Little Rock game, the Bulldogs are scheduled to play fall exhibitions against Auburn and Southern Miss in Biloxi on Oct. 9-10, respectively, as well as Western Kentucky in Jackson, Tennessee, on Oct. 18. Fans can also attend nine open practices at Dudy Noble Field on select dates in September and October, with times to be announced on social media.
