Kelley Jones says he is making Starkvegas his new home.

Kelley Jones has committed to Mississippi State. He’s a dawg and letting it be known early.

The 6’4″ 190lb defensive back out of Clarkdale, MS received an offer from State this spring and he was sold then. There has been a great number of Clarkdale legends to thrive in Maroon and white. Mario Haggan and Charles Mitchell both were a very great asset to our teams when they played here. Jones says he felt at home and that’s why he is headed to Starkville.

“It feels like home,” said Kelley Jones. “They show so much love and support. Us delta guys are trying to start something and be great. The atmosphere, the environment, I love everything about them!”

Kelley is a 6’4″ guy that could possibly line up on the islands for the Bulldogs. Kid has great instincts and one on one cover skills. He is very fluent with his hip movement and has top confidence when covering smaller shifty receivers.

“They like me at corner and safety. With my size and length they feel as if I can be a problem to receivers as I develop and get better!”
