William Carey dominates Abraham Baldwin with 113-82 victory
William Carey defeated Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College 113-82 in a men’s college basketball game Saturday in Tifton, Georgia. The Crusaders built a double-digit lead in the first half and pulled away late to secure the victory, according to team sources.
Assistant coach Phillip McCray praised the team’s effort, saying, “We have the potential to be a pretty good team. We just have to be willing to do all the little things all the time, and we have to stick to that throughout the many ups and downs the season. I love how we look when we’re playing hard and playing together. That’s when we’re at our best.”
The game was tied at 4-4 early before William Carey went on a 13-6 run to take a 17-10 lead with 12:07 remaining in the first half.
