Nominations for IMPACT player of the year presented by Craddock Oil now open
The Mississippi high school football season is in the books and it was a season unlike any other. No spring, no summer, cancelled games, missing players and coaches. In some cases, limits on practice.
The teams in our state did what Mississippi always does: persevere.
The end result: one of the most exciting high school football state championship events in history.
The postseason is here and we are taking nominations for our IMPACT player of the year.
Our IMPACT player of the year has a few qualities that we are looking for:
Individual Merits:
We look for players that have achieved on field success. More importantly, we look for players whose individual IMPACT has led to team success.
Positive Attitude:
Our player of the year has made an IMPACT on their teammates, coaches and everyone that they have come across by exhibiting a positive attitude on the field of play. Sportsmanship matters.
Character Traits:
We put value on character traits that players exhibit off the field: how did this player make an IMPACT in their school and community?
Nominations are now open and we accept them via email at editor@sportsmississippi.com, via DM on social media or via this contact form below.
