The Southern States Athletic Conference announced today that Blue Mountain College’s Annabel Trasuchke has been named its Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Trauschke had an unbelievable week where she had six goals and two assists totaling 14 points, which included a haul (four goals) against Talladega and a brace (two goals) against MUW.
Trauschke and her teammates now stand at 5-5-1 overall and 1-2 in the SSAC. It is the true freshman’s first weekly award from the SSAC.
“I’m extremely proud of Annabel and the work she has put in,” BMC head coach Lauren Lear said. “She is completely committed to being the best player she can be, and it is really showing. She is very deserving of this award.”
Trauschke and BMC next play (RV) Middle Ga. St. Thursday in Cochran, Ga. at 4:30 p.m. CST.
