Weather Causes Time Change for Southern Miss Softball Game at Texas State

The University of Southern Mississippi softball game against Texas State scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. has been moved to 12 p.m., the Texas State Department of Athletics announced.

The change was made to avoid stormy weather forecasted for the area, according to officials. The game will be played at the Bobcat Softball Complex in San Marcos, Texas.

The series continues with the Sunday game still scheduled for its original start time of 12 p.m., the university said. Fans are advised to check the program’s social media channels for updates.

Southern Miss softball last played on April 16, splitting a series with Georgia Southern. The team is currently preparing for upcoming conference matchups.
