SWAC Releases 2026 Football TV Schedule with 50 Games

The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its official TV broadcast schedule for the 2026 football season on Wednesday. A total of 50 games will be streamed across 12 member institutions, according to the conference.

Alcorn State will be featured six times on SWAC TV. The Braves, led by third-year head coach Cedric Thomas, open the season Saturday, Aug. 29, with a Week 0 game against Miles College of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association. The game will be streamed from Lorman, Mississippi, at 6 p.m. CDT.

The schedule includes three consecutive SWAC TV contests from late September into October. Alcorn faces Texas Southern on Sept. 26, travels to Grambling State for a Tigers Homecoming on Oct. 3, and hosts Arkansas Baptist for Homecoming on Oct. 10. The Braves will also stream their Halloween game against Mississippi Valley State and their Nov. 7 matchup at Florida A&M.
