Southwest Mississippi Football has announced the addition of Bo Wallace as co-offensive coordinator and Blake Frazier as defensive coordinator for the 2026 season. The hires aim to strengthen the team’s coaching staff ahead of the upcoming campaign, according to school officials.

He holds the NJCAA record for passing yards in a season with 4,604 yards during his lone year at East Mississippi in 2011. That season, he helped lead East Mississippi to an undefeated record and a national championship and was named NJCAA Player of the Year.
Wallace began his coaching career at Marshall County High School in 2016 as quarterback coach. He returned to East Mississippi in 2017 as the team’s quarterback coach. He later served as co-offensive coordinator and quarterback coach at Pearl River in 2020, then coached at Holmes Community College in 2021. Most recently, he was offensive coordinator and admissions assistant at University School of Jackson in 2023 before joining Southwest Mississippi.
Frazier, a 2000 Southwest Mississippi graduate and 2002 University of Southern Mississippi alum, started his coaching career at Jones County Junior College in 2001. He has since coached at West Alabama, Cottage Hill Christian High School, Northwest Community College, East Central Community College, Magnolia Heights High School, and Midwestern State University, where he served as defensive coordinator in 2024 and 2025. Frazier also worked as a scout in the Canadian Football League and coached at Olive Branch High School.
