Southern Miss to Host NCAA Baseball Regional at Pete Taylor Park

The University of Southern Mississippi will host the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament Hattiesburg Regional from May 29 to June 1, the NCAA announced Sunday evening. This marks the fifth time in program history that Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field has served as a regional host, including in 2003, 2017, 2022, and 2025.

The regional will feature four teams competing in a double-elimination format. The full 64-team field will be revealed Monday at 11 a.m. CT (Noon ET) on ESPN2. Game times for the Hattiesburg Regional will be announced later Monday.

All season ticket holders for Southern Miss Baseball will receive an email with details on purchasing tickets. Prices include $150 for all-session chairback and bleacher seats, and $100 for general admission and wheelchair seating. Student all-session passes for the participating schools are available for $50. Fans experiencing issues accessing their accounts are advised to contact the Southern Miss Ticket Office or visit in person beginning May 25.

Pete Taylor Park has hosted NCAA Regionals in 2003, 2017, 2022, and 2025, as well as Super Regional rounds in 2022 and 2023. The regional field will include teams from across the country, with host sites in cities such as Athens, Georgia; Auburn, Alabama; Austin, Texas; and others.

Southern Miss recently secured a third Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship, winning twice on Sunday. The Golden Eagles have a strong postseason history and will look to advance further in this year’s tournament.
