The Rebels will face No. 19 Tennessee on Thursday, April 9, at 4 p.m. at the Dr. Robert L. Barksdale Tennis Stadium in Knoxville. Tennessee posted a 2-1 record at the ITA Indoor National Championships, including wins over No. 15 Virginia and No. 8 Oklahoma State, and has a 11-8 overall record with a 6-7 SEC mark, including a notable 4-2 win over No. 7 Texas. Following that, Ole Miss will travel to Lexington, Kentucky, for its final regular-season match against the Wildcats on Saturday, April 11, at 12 p.m. at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex. Kentucky holds a 9-13 record overall and is 1-12 in SEC play. The Wildcats’ notable victory came when No. 73 Zoe Hammond defeated Texas’ No. 1 Carmen Herea in singles. Kentucky also has a ranked doubles team, according to sources.
The Rebels, who have won the last four meetings against Kentucky, aim to finish their season on a high note. The team is led by standout players including freshman Riley Crowder, who was the No. 1 recruit out of Alabama in 2025, and senior Ichino Horikawa, who secured the deciding point in Ole Miss’ upset of LSU.
Ole Miss has a 13-9 overall record with a 5-8 mark in SEC play. The team has shown resilience and growth throughout the season, highlighted by recent victories and strong performances from key players. The team’s postseason plans include the upcoming SEC Tournament, scheduled for later this month.
