Ole Miss Women’s Golf Tied for 12th After 36 Holes at Darius Rucker Intercollegiate
The No. 15 Ole Miss women’s golf team stands tied for 12th place after two rounds at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Golf Club in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The Rebels posted a 12-over-par 296 in the second round, bringing their total to 588 (+12).
Mary Miller had a standout day for Ole Miss, shooting a 1-under 70 in round two. She recorded five birdies on her front nine and shot a 33 on the outward nine. Miller nearly made an ace at the par-3 17th hole, missing the hole by a foot as her ball landed on the green. The Savannah, Georgia native remains inside the top 20 with 18 holes remaining.
Kajsalotta Svarvar struggled with her scoring but remains within the top 15 at two-over par overall. Final round play is scheduled to begin Wednesday at 10:10 a.m. Central Time. Golf Channel will provide live coverage starting at 1:30 p.m., according to tournament organizers.
