Ole Miss Women’s Golf Finishes Eighth at Clemson Invitational

The University of Mississippi women’s golf team, ranked 17th nationally, is in eighth place after two rounds at the Clemson Invitational in Sunset, South Carolina. The Rebels posted a team score of 295, or 7-over par, in the second round and are 10-over for the tournament, according to live scoring updates.

Mary Miller led Ole Miss again, shooting a 2-under 70 in the second round. She recorded four birdies, three of them in her first nine holes, and has tallied 11 rounds this season in red figures, tying for the team lead. Miller is tied for fourth place heading into Sunday’s final round.

Matilda Björkman added a 1-over 73, while Kajsalotta Svarvar posted a 3-over 75. Sophie Linder finished with a 5-over 77. The Rebels collectively sank 13 birdies during the day and will start the final round at 8:30 a.m. Central Time with a shotgun start.
