Ole Miss Women’s Basketball’s Christeen Iwuala to Play in Lilly All-Star Game

PHOENIX — Ole Miss women’s basketball player Christeen Iwuala is set to compete in the Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game and Combine next weekend at Grand Canyon University’s Global Credit Union Arena, according to the university.

The combine is scheduled for Friday, April 3, with a streaming scrimmage available to fans. The All-Star Game will follow on Saturday, April 4, at 12 p.m. Central Time and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

This marks the second consecutive year a Rebel has appeared in the event. Last year, Madison Scott helped Team Miller secure a 71-59 victory.

Throughout her senior season, Iwuala emerged as one of the SEC’s top forwards, averaging 12.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. She accounted for nearly half of Ole Miss’s double-doubles this season, the first Rebel to reach that mark in 11 games since Scott did so in the 2022-23 season.

During nonconference play, Iwuala was named to the Cherokee Invitational and Coast 2 Coast Classic All-Tournament Teams. She is one of only three Rebels to shoot over 60% from the field in a season, joining Promise Taylor and Eugenia Conner.

Ole Miss encourages fans to secure tickets for the upcoming 2026-2027 season, as the team continues its postseason streak and shows upward trajectory.
