Ole Miss men’s tennis is scheduled to play the Dayton Flyers on Sunday at 9:15 p.m. at the Graul Tennis Complex in Dayton, Ohio, according to university athletics officials. The Rebels enter the match with a 6-0 record, seeking to keep their winning streak alive.
Dayton, which is 0-2 this season, will be looking for its first victory against an SEC opponent. The Flyers opened their season with losses to Kentucky, falling 6-1 and 4-0 in doubleheaders. They will face Ball State Saturday before hosting Ole Miss.
Last season, Dayton finished with a 22-4 record and was the top seed in the Atlantic 10 Championships. Head coach Ryan Meyer is in his 14th season leading the Flyers and will face a tough challenge against the Rebels, who are ranked among the top teams in the region.
Ole Miss features several standout players, including sophomore Matthieu Chambonniere, who finished the 2024 season with a 23-7 singles record. Other key players include freshman Stefano D’Agostino, with high ITF rankings, and senior Noah Schlagenhauf, who has a solid singles record this season. The Rebels aim to continue their impressive start on the road against Dayton.
