Ole Miss Men’s Golf Ranks Sixth at Mason Rudolph Championship
The University of Mississippi men’s golf team is in sixth place after two rounds at the Mason Rudolph Championship, held at Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee, according to the school’s athletics department.
The Rebels shot a 283, or 1-under par, on Saturday, bringing their total to 5-over for the tournament. Tom Fischer led Ole Miss with a 1-under 70 in the second round. The Birmingham, Alabama native is 5-under through 36 holes, just two strokes off the lead.
Cameron Tankersley bounced back with a 2-under 69, finishing the day at 1-over par overall. He was 2-over at the turn but made four birdies over his final nine holes. Collins Trolio posted an even-par score, while Cohen Trolio shot 73 and Daniel Tolf finished at 4-over. Jacob Blanton also shot 73 in the individual category.
