Ole Miss Men’s Golf Heads to Nashville for Mason Rudolph Championship
The Ole Miss men’s golf team, ranked No. 13 nationally, is competing in the Mason Rudolph Championship from April 3-5 at Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee. The three-day tournament features a field of 14 teams, including five in the top 25 according to Clippd, with four from the Southeastern Conference.
The Vanderbilt Legends Club, designed by Tom Kite and Bob Cupp, opened in 1992 and has earned national recognition. The par-71 South Course measures 7,100 yards and offers a challenging mix of wooded and open spaces.
Ole Miss enters the event with momentum, having finished third or better in each appearance at the Mason Rudolph Championship since 2023. Last year, the Rebels shot their third-lowest 54-hole score in program history, finishing at 819 (-33), with all five players finishing inside the top 13 and posting under-par scores each round.
The team’s lineup includes seniors Cameron Tankersley, Tom Fischer, Cohen Trolio, and junior Collins Trolio, along with freshmen Daniel Tolf and Jacob Blanton. Tolf, from Gothenburg, Sweden, recently won the Watersound Invitational with a 201 (-9) score, marking his first collegiate victory. Tankersley and Fischer also bring strong resumes, with Tankersley earning his first collegiate win at the recent Chattanooga tournament.
Ole Miss has a history of success in Nashville, with the Rebels claiming their first team and individual titles at the Watersound Invitational earlier this year. The team aims to build on that momentum as they seek their ninth consecutive postseason appearance. Updates and results can be followed on the team’s social media channels and website.
