Ole Miss Baseball to Play Doubleheader Against Evansville on Friday Due to Weather

The University of Mississippi baseball team will play a doubleheader against Evansville on Friday, March 6, due to forecasted inclement weather, according to an announcement from Ole Miss athletics.

The first game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m., with the second game beginning approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first. Both contests will be nine-inning games.

Tickets and parking for Friday’s game will be honored for both games. Fans who wish to leave between games can use Saturday’s parking, but they must use their existing tickets for entry, as no new tickets will be issued. Season tickets will not automatically update in mobile wallets; fans need to re-add the second game through the Ole Miss Sports App or olemisstix.com.

Ole Miss and Evansville are still monitoring the weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday, with plans for the series finale subject to change. An update will be provided once plans are finalized.

Ole Miss encourages fans to stay connected through its social media channels and mobile app for the latest updates and to participate in Rebel Rewards, the university’s fan loyalty program.
