Ole Miss Adds Two to 2026 Football Signing Class

The University of Mississippi announced the addition of two players to its 2026 football recruiting class on Wednesday. Head coach Pete Golding confirmed that Mississippi natives Jamarion Owens and Case Thomas have signed with the Rebels.

Owens, a defensive lineman from Raleigh High School, is ranked as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals. The 6-foot-2, 295-pound athlete was a three-year varsity letterwinner and received 3A Mr. Football honors from the Mississippi High School Activities Association. He helped lead Raleigh to a 14-1 record and a state title, finishing his high school career with 155 tackles and 13 sacks.

Thomas, a wide receiver from Madison-Ridgeland Academy, is also rated a three-star prospect by major recruiting services. As a senior, he caught 67 passes for 1,215 yards and helped lead MRA to a 9-2 record and a semifinal appearance in the MAIS 4A Division I playoffs. Over his high school career, Thomas totaled 188 catches for 3,480 yards and 36 touchdowns, according to the school.

Ole Miss’s 2026 signing class now includes 19 prospects, with the team ranked No. 22 nationally by 247Sports and in the top 26 by Rivals and ESPN. The class features seven four-star recruits. The team’s upcoming schedule features games against Louisville, Charlotte, LSU, Florida, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Texas, Auburn, Georgia, Oklahoma, Wofford, and Mississippi State, among others.
