Neal Terry, Yasmyne McCann Named CSC Academic All-District

Jackson, Mississippi — Neal Terry of the Belhaven men’s track and field team and Yasmyne McCann of the women’s track and field team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams on Tuesday.

To qualify, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically and athletically, maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and participate in at least 90% of their team’s contests or start in 66% of them, according to CSC guidelines. Schools can nominate up to six honorees per sport.

The recognition highlights student-athletes’ combined performances on the field and in the classroom. CSC also honors softball players through its All-America program, which separates honorees into NCAA Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA.
