Mississippi Valley State Women’s Basketball Hosts Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday

ITTA BENA, Miss. — The Mississippi Valley State University women’s basketball team will host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday at 1 p.m., with the start time moved up two hours from the original schedule, according to the university. The game takes place at the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex.

The Devils, who hold a 4-14 overall record and are 3-4 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play, will look to improve upon their recent performance. They lost their last game to Alabama State, but look to secure a win against the Golden Lions, who are 6-12 overall and 3-5 in conference play.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff leads the series against Mississippi Valley State 17-12 since 2010. The last meeting between the two teams was on March 1, 2025, when Mississippi Valley State defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 78-48 at home. The Golden Lions’ last victory over the Devils was on February 1, 2025, with a 68-39 win.
