Mississippi Valley State Softball Looks to Break Losing Streak Against Bethune-Cookman
ITTA BENA, Miss. — The Mississippi Valley State University softball team hosts Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday and Thursday at the MVSU Softball Field. The series includes games on April 1 at 2 and 4 p.m. and on April 2 at 11 a.m., with the Wildcats leading the all-time series 18-3, according to team records.
Bethune-Cookman enters the series with a 10-24 record overall and a 6-6 mark in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. Mississippi Valley State holds a 1-24 record and is 0-12 in conference games. The Wildcats have won 13 consecutive games against the Delta Devils, with their last victory coming on April 10, 2023, by a 12-0 score.
