Mississippi Valley State Faces Alabama A&M in Men’s Basketball on Saturday

The Mississippi Valley State University men’s basketball team will look to secure its first victory of the season Saturday when it faces Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Delta Devils enter the game with a 1-23 record overall and are 0-10 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. Alabama A&M holds a 13-11 record and is 6-5 in the SWAC.

The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Alabama A&M Event Center. It will be streamed on SWAC TV, with radio coverage on G-Line Radio. Live stats will also be available.

Since 1983-84, Alabama A&M leads the series against Mississippi Valley State 33-23. The Bulldogs have won 10 consecutive meetings, with their last loss to the Delta Devils occurring on Feb. 10, 2020, in Itta Bena, Mississippi.

The Bulldogs are riding a 10-game winning streak heading into Saturday’s matchup. Mississippi Valley State will look to end its losing streak and pick up its first win under new coaching staff.
