Mississippi Valley State Baseball Set to Face Southeastern Baptist
ITTA BENA, Miss. — Mississippi Valley State University’s baseball team enters the week riding high after a strong performance. The Delta Devils will face Southeastern Baptist College on Tuesday at Magnolia Field.
The Chargers, based in Laurel, Mississippi, hold a 15-9 record and are 4-1 in the NCCAA. Mississippi Valley State is 7-17 overall and 3-6 in the SWAC, according to school officials.
This marks the first meeting between the two programs since 2012. The series history is tied, as no games have been played between the teams in recent years, and there is no current winning streak for either side.
The game is scheduled for 5 p.m. and will be available for fans to follow on the team’s social media channels, including Twitter/X and Instagram. The Delta Devils also encourage supporters to follow updates on Facebook and other platforms.
The team looks to continue its recent momentum as it hosts Southeastern Baptist in the midweek matchup.
