STARKVILLE — Mississippi State volleyball player Bernardita Aguilar has been named to Argentina’s senior national team roster for the 2026 season, according to an announcement on May 13, 2026.
Head coach Julie Darty Dennis expressed pride in Aguilar’s achievement. “I am so proud of Berni! She is a great representative of Mississippi State, and it’s so cool that she has been chosen to represent her country. What an honor!” Dennis said. “We are cheering her on from StarkVegas.”
Aguilar, who hails from Pergamino, Buenos Aires, made a significant impact during her first season with the Bulldogs in 2025. Playing on the right side, she totaled 228 kills, 268 points, 166 digs and 48 blocks last fall. She started in all 26 matches, including a career-high 23 kills against Vanderbilt, and recorded three double-doubles during the season.
