Mississippi State unveils 2026 walk-up songs for baseball team

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State has announced its official list of walk-up songs for the 2026 baseball season. The playlist features a diverse selection of tracks, ranging from country and classic rock to pop and alternative, designed to energize players at The Dude.

Each player selected a song that reflects their personality or mood, creating a soundtrack for the season. The list includes songs like Jon Pardi’s “Starlight,” Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive,” and Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle.”

Former Bulldog greats such as Jonathan Holder, Jake Mangum, and Landon Sims have left a legacy of memorable walk-up themes. Coach Brian O’Connor and players hope this year’s selections will add to the lively atmosphere at Dudy Noble Field.

The playlist was shared by the team on Monday, with players choosing songs that range from classic rock staples to contemporary hits. Fans can expect to hear songs like “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes and “Dinosaur” by Hank Williams Jr. during games this season.

The Bulldogs’ walk-up music is part of the tradition that energizes the ballpark and connects players with fans. The 2026 playlist aims to inspire the team and entertain supporters throughout the spring campaign.
