The Bulldogs will open their season against Louisiana Monroe at 6:30 p.m. Central Time on Saturday, Sept. 5, with the game airing on ESPNU.
Mississippi State will then travel to Minneapolis for the first time in program history to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers. That game is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on CBS and marks the beginning of a home-and-home series between the teams.
The third game will see the Bulldogs play at South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., to open SEC play. Kickoff there is set for 3:15 p.m. CT, with the game broadcast on SEC Network.
The SEC also revealed that television windows for remaining conference-controlled games would be announced June 10. These include early, afternoon, and night slots, with some games designated as Flex matchups.
