CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi College senior Cade Gadman was named to the 2026 Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-South Region Second Team on Monday. The utility player was recognized as one of the region’s top performers among NCAA Division II programs.
Gadman is the 10th player from the Choctaws to earn the honor since the program returned to Division II. He started all 52 games during the season, helping lead MC to a 28-24 record and a spot in the Gulf South Conference Championship Tournament.
The Clinton native finished the year batting .304 with 66 hits, 35 RBIs, and 15 stolen bases. He was one of only three players to start every game for the team and ranked third in hits. Gadman also contributed nine doubles and scored 34 runs, posting a .349 on-base percentage.
The D2CCA All-Region teams are selected by sports information directors from NCAA Division II schools in the region. Players on the first team advance to the national ballot for All-America consideration. Gadman was one of 17 Gulf South Conference athletes recognized on the All-South Region team.
