Jackson State’s Milton Patterson Serves as Patriots Defensive Assistant in Super Bowl LX

Jackson State will be represented in Super Bowl LX when the New England Patriots face the Seattle Seahawks. Milton Patterson, a former Tiger linebacker, is serving as a defensive assistant for the Patriots, according to team sources.

Patterson played four years at Jackson State, earning All-Southwest Athletic Conference honors. He graduated in 2013 with a degree in therapeutic recreation and began his coaching career at his alma mater as an assistant strength and conditioning coach and defensive analyst from 2012 to 2014.

Since then, Patterson has coached at Mississippi Valley State, Alabama State, Clark Atlanta, Fayetteville State, and Florida A&M, gaining experience at multiple programs before his current role with the Patriots.
