Jackson State announces kick times for 2026 football home games

Jackson State University’s Division of Athletics announced kickoff times for its 2026 football season, featuring five games at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The Tigers will open their home schedule on Sept. 5 against Edward Waters in the Hope Labor Day Classic. The game will kick off at 6 p.m. in Jackson. After a bye week, Jackson State returns to play on Sept. 19 in the W.C. Gorden Classic against Tuskegee, followed by the Southwestern Athletic Conference opener on Sept. 26 against Southern. All three September games are scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

Later in the season, Jackson State will host Florida A&M on Oct. 17 and Mississippi Valley State on Nov. 7. Both games are set for 2 p.m. kickoffs.

Season tickets are on sale, starting at $110 for youth general admission, with limited availability. General admission tickets are $170, reserved seats are $235, and box seats are $300. Parking passes are available in multiple options, ranging from $135 for the general lot to $1,510 for corporate RV tailgate spots. The season car tailgate lot costs $560, while the RV tailgate lot is $810.

The deadline to renew season tickets is April 15 at 6 p.m. Single-game tickets go on sale May 4, with reserved tickets available starting Aug. 5.
