Cody Presley Leads Blue Mountain to Series Win, Earns SSAC Player of the Week
Montgomery, Ala. — Cody Presley continued his strong season for Blue Mountain Christian, earning SSAC Baseball Player of the Week honors for the second time this season, according to the conference.
Presley played a key role in helping the Toppers win three of four games last week, including an SSAC series victory over Faulkner University. He finished with a .533 batting average, 14 total bases, two home runs and 10 RBIs, consistently producing in clutch moments, according to the school.
Head Coach Taylor Clark praised Presley’s impact at the plate and his leadership on the field. “Cody is the kind of player every lineup needs,” Clark said. “He’s consistent, he competes every at-bat and thrives in big moments. This week, it wasn’t just about the numbers — it’s how he lifted the guys around him. When he’s locked in, he changes the game for us.”
With Presley’s offensive production, the Toppers continue to build momentum in SSAC play as the season progresses.
