Blue Mountain Christian Women’s Golf Finishes Fifth at SSAC Championship

The Blue Mountain Christian women’s golf team finished fifth at the SSAC Women’s Golf Championship held at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Alabama. The tournament was played on a par-72 course with a total yardage of 5,838 yards, according to the conference.

Morgan Dabbs led the team, finishing 22nd overall with rounds of 88, 78, and 87 for a total of 253. Erin Porter and Abby Gattis each tied for 23rd place. Porter posted rounds of 86, 84, and 84 for a total of 254, while Gattis shot rounds of 87, 87, and 80 for a 254 total.

Adina Ataullah finished 28th with rounds of 83, 93, and 91 for a total of 267. Abby Moore rounded out the lineup in 29th place after scoring 88, 92, and 88 for a total of 268. The event marked the final tournament of the season for the Toppers.

Head coach Kevin Barefield praised the team’s development and outlook. “This group gave us a lot to build on,” he said. “They continued to compete, learn, and grow throughout the year, and that gives us a lot of hope for what the 2026-27 season can become. We’re excited about the direction of this program and the opportunity that’s ahead for these young women.”

With the season concluded, the team will shift focus to preparing for next year’s campaign, Barefield added.
