The Belhaven University baseball team has been ranked 22nd in the American Baseball Coaches Association’s NCAA Division III preseason poll, released Tuesday.
The Blazers finished the 2025 season with a 34-15 record and made their first NCAA Super Regional appearance in program history. They advanced to the NCAA Regional last season, sweeping through the Webster Regional by defeating Rhodes, No. 13 Webster, and MSOE to reach the final 16 teams in the country.
Belhaven is scheduled to open its 2026 season on Feb. 17, hosting MUW in a standalone game at 6 p.m. The season marks a new chapter for the program following its successful 2025 campaign, which included the school’s first NCAA regional appearance.
