Ole Miss men’s basketball announces tip times and TV designations

Oct. 10, 2024 – The 2024-25 Ole Miss men’s basketball schedule continues to get ironed out, as the SEC announced tip times and TV designations for numerous games on Thursday. The program also announced the remainder of their non-conference game times, setting the schedule for a highly anticipated season in the SJB Pavilion.

Among their conference matchups, the Rebels will play 10 of their games on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU. Highlights at home include Auburn on Feb. 1 (ESPN or ESPN2), against Kentucky in the SJB Pavilion on Feb. 4 (ESPN), hosting Mississippi State on Feb. 15 (ESPN or ESPN2), and Oklahoma on March 1 (ESPN or ESPN2).

The remaining eight of their 18 SEC contests will be broadcasted on the SEC Network.

To open the 2024-25 campaign, Ole Miss will host Illinois for a charity exhibition game on Sunday, October 27 at 11 a.m. which will be televised on the SEC Network. The regular season will begin with a 7:30 p.m. game against LIU on Monday, Nov. 4, followed by a 6 p.m. contest against Grambling State on Friday, Nov. 8.

The “Throwback Game in the Tad Pad” against South Alabama will tipoff at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased online.

Other times set for the Rebels are the Colorado State game in Southaven at 3 p.m., Oral Roberts at 7 p.m., Lindenwood at 7 p.m., Southern Miss in Biloxi at 3 p.m., Southern at 6 p.m., and Queens at 6 p.m.
