Former Rebel Tim Jumper passes away

Dec. 9, 2024-The Ole Miss men’s basketball community lost one of their icons in former player Tim Jumper, 55, who passed away on Sunday, Dec. 8.

“The Ole Miss family has lost a dear friend and great representative with the passing of Tim Jumper,” said Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Keith Carter. “He enjoyed a remarkable playing career here and continued his love for the Rebels for the rest of his life, showing tremendous support for the basketball program. Tim’s passion for life was indelible, and that energy will live on as we remember him for years to come.”
