Mississippi State women’s hoops runs past Chicago State

Dec 8, 2024- Mississippi State women’s basketball ran past Chicago State, 102-42, inside Jones Convocation Center on Sunday.
With the win, Mississippi State improves to 9-1 on the season and 37-7 in non-conference action under coach Sam Purcell.
Graduate student guard Jerkaila Jordan posted 21 points on 9-13 from the field, in addition to five rebounds, five blocks, three assists and three steals in 30 minutes.
Junior center Madina Okot recorded the third double-double of her career with 18 points on 8-11 from the field and 11 rebounds, nine of which were offensive, in 20 minutes. Graduate student guard/forward Chandler Prater buried a career-high four threes to add 14 points on 5-9 from the field and 4-5 from three, in addition to five rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes.
