High school diamonds across Mississippi were electric on February 19, 2026, with explosive offensive performances and dominant outings in the circle. From multi-RBI nights to double-digit strikeout performances, athletes across the state delivered big-time performances.
⚾ Baseball Standouts
Several hitters delivered clutch performances at the plate, driving in runs in bunches.
At Clarksdale, junior Holden Daleke drove in four runs on two hits, including two extra-base hits against South Panola.
Junior Chase Cagna powered Coastal Mississippi Homeschool with three hits and four RBIs against Ben’s Ford Christian, while Rustyn Boydd of East Marion matched the four-RBI mark in a win over Salem.
Sophomore E.J. Cox helped Greene County with two hits and four RBIs versus Hattiesburg, and senior Merritt Owens came through in a big way for Hickory Flat, finishing with five RBIs against Independence.
Jackson Academy Duo Delivers
Jackson Academy received major production in its matchup with Hartfield Academy.
Junior Deuce Jenkins had three hits, including a home run, and five RBIs. Teammate Jed Rodden added two hits and four RBIs.
Kole Wildmon of New Site also drove in five runs against Wheeler.
Roman Lawrence of Oak Forest Academy delivered one of the biggest stat lines of the day, going 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs against Columbia Academy.
Rosa Fort had two explosive bats in its lineup, as Ditravius Scott collected four hits, and J. Granberry added four hits and four RBIs against Coahoma County.
Senior Cody Carnathan of Saltillo drove in five runs in a matchup against Booneville.
Ryan Tate of Tremont recorded three hits and four RBIs against Thrasher.
Tupelo Christian Prep Breakout Night
Tupelo Christian Prep’s offense erupted against Regents.
Jack Decker had three hits, including a home run, and five RBIs.
Nate Cornelison posted one of the top performances of the day, finishing with five hits, four RBIs, and three extra-base hits.
Bryce Godown added two hits and four RBIs in the same game.
Kolten Thomas of Vicksburg drove in four runs against Leake Central.
🥎 Softball Stars Shine
The softball side featured both explosive bats and overpowering pitching performances.
Carsci Page powered Bay Springs with three hits, a home run, and four RBIs against Newton. Teammate Jariya Blockman struck out 13 in the circle.
Annaleese Rabon of Biloxi tossed a dominant 12-strikeout performance without allowing an earned run against Pascagoula.
Brookhaven had two key contributors against Wesson, as J. Pendleton drove in four runs and Journi Hunt added a home run and four RBIs.
Big Offensive Nights
Lynlee Minchew of Clarkdale led all hitters with six RBIs and three extra-base hits versus Southeast Lauderdale.
Madi Robbins of East Union had four hits against Booneville, and Faith Edwards of East Webster also recorded four hits versus Kosciusko.
Greene County received major production from Addie Tungett, who had four hits, four RBIs, and three extra-base hits, along with Riley Kate Byrd, who drove in four runs against Citronelle.
Hatley’s Kinsley Echols and Raigan Brown each drove in four runs against Saltillo.
New Albany’s Kira Graham collected four hits and four RBIs against Olive Branch.
North Pontotoc’s Kinsley Frazier blasted two home runs and drove in four runs versus Mooreville.
Dominant in the Circle
Freshman Chloee Parhm of Hattiesburg struck out 16 and did not allow an earned run against Forrest County Agricultural.
Bella Pierce of Northwest Rankin recorded 12 strikeouts while allowing just one earned run, and seventh grader Cambri Sumrall of Oak Grove struck out 12.
Myrtle’s Brooklyn Streich fanned 13 batters, while Pisgah senior Ally Young threw a complete-game shutout against Choctaw Central.
Eight-RBI Explosion
Zoriah Martin of St. Patrick delivered arguably the biggest offensive performance of the night, finishing with eight RBIs and a home run in St. Patrick’s matchup against St. Martin.
St. Martin’s E. Elmore added three extra-base hits in the same contest.
Vardaman’s Ande Ferguson had four hits, five RBIs, and three extra-base hits against Bruce, while Sammie Gunter added four RBIs.
Riley Martin of West Lincoln drove in five runs against Amite County. Peyton Perkins of Richland had five RBIs versus Pelahatchie. K. Robertson of Sebastopol drove in six runs against Lake.
Caroline Kelley and Jenny Dreher of Senatobia each drove in four or more runs against Lafayette.
