Hickory Flat takes 3-1 win over Potts Camp.

The Lady Rebels and Lady Cardinals squared off in a key Region matchup on Tuesday. Hickory Flat came out with the victory on senior night.

The two schools separated by just 7 miles played a heated first set, won by the visitors from Potts Camp 25-20. From there it was all Lady Rebels.

Hickory Flat moved to 3-0 in district play claiming the match 25-19, 25-5, 25-19 after dropping the opener.

Sarah Jo Skelton put up 23 assists and a trio of kills, part of 34 team kills, as the Lady Rebels put themselves firmly in the drivers seat for a district title.

Camri Westmoreland led the way at the net, turning in a dominant performance with 9 kills and 5 blocks. Morgan Green had 6 kills and 3 blocks with Jolee Young and Anna Reese Woods had 6 kill each. Anna Rose Work and Chasity Davis were big on the serve, combining for 7 aces.

For Potts Camp, Desray Longstreet was big at the net with 5 blocks and 5 kills. Charlie Holmes had 7 digs and 5 kills while Carson Bennett led with 6 kills.

September 28 these two teams square off again in what could decide the district champion. That match is at Potts Camp.
