Northwest Mississippi Community College moved from seventh to fifth in the Week 10 NJCAA football poll released Monday, moving within one spot of a potential national semifinal berth with possibly two games remaining.
The team’s rise followed losses by Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, which is 7-2, and Navarro College in Texas, which is 6-3.
