Hinds QB Jaylon Ruffin Named MACCC Offensive Player of the Week

Raymond, Miss. — Hinds Community College quarterback Jaylon Ruffin was named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The award follows his standout performance in the Eagles’ 52-28 victory over East Central Community College on Sophomore Night.

Ruffin accounted for six total touchdowns and amassed 385 yards of total offense. He completed 27 of 33 passes for 303 yards and four touchdowns. Additionally, he rushed nine times for 82 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Eagles improve to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in South Division play.
