56 Northwest Alumni Listed for Week 10 College Football Games

Fifty-six Northwest alumni were listed for college football games in Week 10, the school said. The schedule included three matchups featuring former Rangers on both teams, along with games involving alumni across multiple conferences and divisions.

Two games were completed Thursday. Dylan Spencer and UTSA lost to Florida Atlantic 60-29, while M.J. Johnson and Southern Miss fell to James Madison 54-23.

Jakwon Morris and Illinois were scheduled to face Nebraska on Friday night. Saturday’s listed games began with Chris Thomas and Florida State against Boston College at 11 a.m. Central time.

The first of three alumni matchups was East Tennessee State against Samford at noon. Damari Burton was listed for ETSU, ranked No. 19, and Caulen Dunn for Samford. At 2 p.m., Monta Sanford and Reed Jesiolowski of Kennesaw State were set to meet Josh Humes and Delaware. Nate Walker’s Arkansas-Pine Bluff team was scheduled to play Lantavious Murphy and Grambling at the same time.

Other alumni listed for Saturday included Charles Woodard with No. 16 Campbell against Stony Brook; Aiden Glover with UT Martin against Charleston Southern; and Drew Brewer and Zion Edwards with Delta State against Valdosta State. The schedule also included Roman Womack and No. 10 Ole Miss against No. 2 Georgia at 6:30 p.m., and Keon Hutchins and Jaylen Thomas with West Virginia at No. 15 Texas Tech at 8:30 p.m.

The school’s schedule listed Caleb Estrada of Chicago State as off this week. It noted that game dates, times and broadcast outlets could change, and that listed times were Central. Several games were marked as requiring a subscription to watch.
