Southern Miss opens registration for Turkey Toss tournament

Southern Miss Athletics is accepting registrations for its second annual Turkey Toss cornhole tournament, scheduled for Nov. 21 ahead of the Golden Eagles’ football game against South Alabama.

The tournament will take place in Spirit Park and is capped at 64 teams, with two competitors per team. Organizers said they will notify registered teams of the start times Monday, Nov. 16, after the game’s kickoff time is announced.

Registration costs $150 per team. Students and Southern Miss football season ticket holders can register for $100. Each team will receive two T-shirts and four tickets to the game, with additional tickets available for purchase. Light refreshments will be provided.

The winning team will receive a trophy, custom Southern Miss cornhole boards and a cash prize to split among its members. The winners also will be recognized on the field and have the opportunity to watch the team enter before kickoff. Each participant will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes.

Registration closes Nov. 13 or when all 64 spots are filled. The announcement directs participants to register through a linked form.
