NWCC vs. CCC Football postponed

Northwest Mississippi Community College’s football matchup with Coahoma Community College on October 29 has been postponed until further notice, according to a statement released Wednesday from NWCC. The reasoning for postponement relates to ongoing COVID-19 concerns stemming from CCC.

Despite the postponement, NWCC still intends to host their 2020 homecoming ceremony at Bobby Franklin Field in Senatobia at 7:00 p.m.

The Rangers are currently 2-0 after last week’s upset of Northeast Mississippi Community College. They will be back in action on Saturday, November 7, when they travel to Mississippi Delta Community College. The Tigers of CCC will now look to snap a two game losing streak on Thursday, November 5 when they host Holmes Community College. A make up date for this Thursday’s game will be determined at a later date.
