Trinity Garvin earns second SLIAC softball Pitcher of the Week award

Columbus, Miss. — Trinity Garvin, a freshman pitcher at Mississippi State University-W, received her second St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Pitcher of the Week award, covering March 23-29, 2026, according to the conference.

Garvin previously earned the award for the week of Feb. 8-15. She pitched a shutout Saturday in the first game of MUW’s sweep over Westminster College, allowing two hits and striking out two in seven innings without issuing a walk. She faced just three batters over the minimum in the game.

At the plate, Garvin was equally effective, going 4-for-7 (.571) with three runs scored and three RBIs in the doubleheader. Her two-run, bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh inning tied the game, setting up teammate MC Brown’s walk-off three-run home run for an 8-5 victory.
