Softball Series Between Alcorn and UAPB Postponed Due to Weather
APINE BLUFF, Ark. — Inclement weather in and around Pine Bluff, Arkansas, led to the postponement of the remaining games in the Southwestern Athletic Conference softball series between Alcorn State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Coaches and administrators from both teams agreed to halt the series, with a resumption date to be announced later, according to sources. The series was stopped in the top of the seventh inning of game two, with Alcorn leading 5-3.
UAPB won the first game of the doubleheader on Friday, March 6, before the series was suspended. No new date has been set for the continuation of the series.
