Ratliff, Clark Receive All-MACCC Honorable Mentions

UTICA, Miss. — The Hinds Community College men’s basketball team received postseason honors Wednesday, with sophomore Austin Ratliff and freshman Terrance Clark earning All-MACCC Honorable Mentions, according to the league office.

Ratliff had an efficient season, averaging 13.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He shot 53.7% from the field and 71.3% from the free-throw line. His top performance came against Coastal Alabama CC-South, when he scored a season-high 37 points on 16 made field goals.

Over his two seasons at Hinds, Ratliff averaged 11.8 points per game and totaled 720 points. He shot better than 50% from the field and 69.2% from the free-throw line.

Clark made an immediate impact in his first season, leading the Bulldogs with 14.7 points per game. He scored a total of 456 points, grabbed 149 rebounds, and recorded 55 steals. Clark also shot 54.7% from the field, 37.5% from three-point range, and 72.1% from the free-throw line, demonstrating his versatility on both ends of the court.

The duo played key roles in guiding Hinds to the conference tournament semifinals, the program’s deepest postseason run since 2020. The Bulldogs finished with 18 wins, their highest total since the 2009–10 season.
