The W’s men’s and women’s tennis teams saw their seasons come to an end Tuesday in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) semifinals at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis.

The Owls, the No. 2 teams from the UMAC South Division, lost to UMAC North champion University of Wisconsin-Superior. The women’s team was defeated 4-0, while the men’s team lost 4-2.

In the women’s match, Wisconsin-Superior swept all three doubles matches, earning the doubles point and taking control early. Kayleigh Griffin and Brooklyn Ward, both seniors, teamed up at No. 1 doubles but lost 6-0. Austin Hays and Bailey Flynn fell 6-3 at No. 2, and Emma Horton and Alaina Mathis lost 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.
